Looks like it would have been cheaper to avoid it in the first place. Too late now. Capitalist American can't see beyond the next quarterly report. Occasionally the next annual report. We suck at projecting and planning out 30 or 40 years out.

Yes, many here tout the "stock market" and "S and P 500" as the end all be all.

As far as Capitalist America - yes sure we emit more per head but then again we kick the world's ass in economics and innovation - according to President Biden, recently.

Maybe, adjust for inflation and see how much Europe would've paid if they had no American security guarantee and no NATO and they can put that towards the 38T.....
