so it seems this brief is making a strong 'originalist' case for clearly marking trump no longer a qualified candidate.

no problem, Clarence & The Originalists will come up with a new name for the band.

the only consistency i see from SCOTUS so far :
- it becomes 'state's rights' when they want to disrupt federal precedent
- it becomes federal authority when states exercise their rights and upset conservatives (if that word even has relevance anymore)
