Let me go to say, I agree with that NTSB spokesman when he expresses frustration that thousands of NTSB recommendations resulting from investigating all sorts of incidents going back years are mostly ignored. I would like to see pressure put on the FAA and the airlines to explain why not.

Because our elected officials (and by extension, most of us citizens), don’t give a rat’s ass. Apparently we’re more concerned with the price of eggs.

That and implementing the recommendations are expensive and would cause businesses to not have as much profit.
