Absolutely, gas prices are lower in Republican-led red states.

I live in deep red Utah.

Yesterday the lowest gas price in the town I live in was $3.99 and 9/10ths (why do gas prices still always end with 9/10ths of a cent...is there a good reason?), in other words $4.00.

These elevated prices (and they may go higher), will be temporary, so at some point Trump can say it was worth it.

But there will be other economic impacts.
