Texas passed what might be the first state-mandated book list for public school students. It focuses on classic literature and includes Bible excerpts.

Of course they will say it is the Bible as literature. Bullshit. The Christofascists want indoctrination.

Surely this will be challenged in the courts.

Do they also get to read excerpts from the Koran, etc.?
