it still baffles me how many post all over the finweb something along the lines of '...this is an investing site and does not need politics...'
the very concept that this cannot have an economic impact seems to be unreachable within whatever circle-of-competence participants believe themselves to have.

This is what drove me away from TMF. I just went to see, and as recently as 3 days ago the "No politics" post appeared again there.
