Subject: More Trouble for Hundreds in DC / Boston
On November 8, 2023, the US Attorney's office for the District of Massachusetts issued an indictment of three men charged with operating a "high end brothel network".

The announcement identified four cities involved with the operation: Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts and Fairfax and Tysons, Virginia. The first paragraph of the public notice says everthing that's important:

----------------
BOSTON – Three individuals have been arrested in connection with operating sophisticated high-end brothels in greater Boston and eastern Virginia. Commercial sex buyers allegedly included elected officials, high tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors that possess security clearances, professors, attorneys, scientists and accountants, among others.
----------------

The indictment points out the various industries tied to the clients served by this ring. That likely means the investigation and indictments are not focused on an old-fashioned sex-only scandal but reflect larger concerns of public corruption of elected officials, corporate bribery or extortion or intellectual property theft and industrial espionage, possibly state-sponsored, with sex as the bait.
