Subject: Battle of the Billionaires
At the same time Berkshire was buying Alphabet, Bill Ackman was selling it.

Ackman said, "To be clear, our sale of Google was not a bet against the company. We are very bullish long term on Alphabet. But at current valuations and in light of our finite capital base, we used [it] as a source of funds for Microsoft."

As a long-time shareholder in both Microsoft and Alphabet, I agree Microsoft appears to be the better value currently.

Wonder if someone without a finite capital base and billions to deploy might also consider Microsoft? 😉
