Subject: Re: OT: Bad day for data moochers
I believe awhile back Jim suggested Pinnacle as a relatively inexpensive source of timely and accurate historical equities data, either here in MI or perhaps in BRK, in the now denigrated Motley Fool realm.

In light of Yahoo's vacillating provision of free data, I'm looking for an affordable source of historical financial info. The primary challenge appears to be historical depth of prices and variety of other fundamental properties, most importantly adjustment for dividends. I gather all credible sources of simple historical closing prices are adjusted for stock splits and spin-offs.

For better or worse, about 20 years ago I retired as a software developer. Today, at mid-age 83 I regard that as a significant mistake, as ecospheric engagement evokes ongoing evolution.

By definition, retirement disentangles many erstwhile valuable relations.

We are who we are by virtue of present associations. I now welcome copacetic additions to my ecosphere.
