Subject: Re: Biden Absent from Sunday Shows
Looks like the campaign has decided that proving the candidate's fitness for office by subjecting him to an interview with an independent journalist wasn't going to work.

Or, he had a previously scheduled vacation and is taking that time to "regroup" and perhaps discuss future plans with family

But I do anticipate an extensive interview "soon", perhaps on 60 Minutes, if he thinks he can manage it. That is, if he doesn't decide to quit. Or maybe he'd do such an interview even if he does decide to hand the baton over to Harris.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday, following a nationally televised debate Thursday that left many fellow Democrats worried about his ability to beat former President Donald Trump in November, according to five people familiar with the matter.

Biden’s trip was planned before Thursday’s debate. He and first lady Jill Biden are scheduled to join their children and grandchildren there late Saturday.
