Given that it now turns out that damage to the Ford was much more extensive than we were led to believe, and

Given that Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon has been virtually mum on reporting the extent of damage to US bases by Iran, and

Given that Iran claimed early to have hit US ships…..

Who shall we believe about the Ford?

For now, I’m believing the Pentagon that claims it was a fire started in the laundry room.

But I’m holding that explanation a lot less firmly than I was two months ago.
