If you eliminate all congressional seats representing black citizens because you’re a racist, that is illegal according to the SCOTUS.

But if you take out your Harry Potter Magic Wand and say the magic words “We eliminate all congressional seats representing black citizens because of political reasons”, the SCOTUS says it’s perfectly legal.

We’ve erased racism! Magic!
