Subject: Re: Enjoy Troops While You Can
HI LM.....
I have no idea what the political climate is in 2028 other than discontentedness - that part -100% sure.
2 IMperfect things I look at to read tea leaves:
1,)Uk Politics which i feel can mirror our own or fortell it.
Reagan-Thatcher. (similar)
Bush-Major (similar.)
Clinton-Blair- (my god - twins)
Dubya-Dave Cameron (compassionate conservative)
Obama-GordonBrown
BREXIT ----TRUMP
After Brexit, but for a few asterisks they've gone Starmer.... hardly a Brexit/MAGA endorsement.
2.)Here at home we tend to want new . Fresh.
Carter - demure, soft. Reagan - John Wayne
Bush - older, bumbling - Clinton - younger, charismatic.
Clinton - (Lewinsky) --- to Dubya - church and Laura
Dubya to Obama - charismatic and professorial both different than Bush.
Then we went Trump - the "eff you" candidate after which - - we went Biden, total opposite of eff-you but then - we AGAIN went opposite- to Trump, the eff-you candidiate.
But both of the above, it's not Vance.
Vance however is politically cunning and gofted and he's backed by Big Tech VC player and others. So for that reason i'll never count him out and also, never underestimate the Democrat's desire to lose----so they might do he/him they/them Sheeple stuff again and that might indeed deliver it for Vance.
Biggest WildCard: Are Dems united in 2028 and if so - is it a Clintonian Party, or an AOC party.
The *only* reason I don't call it 100% for Dems today is Vance is an excellent Rust Belt candidate.
