Subject: DNC elects Ken Martin as New Chair
Done yesterday at meeting in Minnesota. That he is white is a coincidence since they always elect the most qualified candidate available. The second leading contender was also white - Ben Wikler. Of the 428 votes cast, Martin won 246.5 while Wikler won 134.5 and O'Malley won 44. The remaining 3 votes went to other candidates.

The two white guys received 89% of the votes. What intrigued me was the 0.5 vote that each received. So looking around, I found this.
