If that was all that was happening, okay, but it was not.

Blocking streets for emergency vehicles, blowing whistles, beating
drums, yelling, cursing, spitting, smart ass arguing (Good}
refusing instructions to move, armed men violently resisting arrest....
out comes the tear-gas, and arrest mode, they got what they asked for.

Laws were broken....But whoppydo, no windows were broken.
