Subject: Re: Is Trump standing up for the victims?

…while ignoring multiple cases of abuse from yet another sleazy democrat. It’s endemic in their party.

We old phartz remember Wayne Hays. The doofus who had mistresses in both his home district office and his DC office. The fool married the one in Ohio, so the ho in the DC office squawked, publicly. Hays resigned his seat in the House within a few months.

There there was Wilbur Mills, Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, one of the most powerful positions in Congress. He was carrying on with a stripper. I don't recall the details, but he, and the stripper, ended up in a tidal pool in DC. He was reeleced anyway, in 74, but lost his chairmanship. He did not run for another term in 78.

Back then, the FBI actually prosecuted pols for taking bribes, instead of bribes now being a feature of holding office. Most of the pols the FBI won convictions for were Dems.

But, we live in a radically different country, than we had in the 70s.
