Subject: Re: John Kerry says it outloud - salute
“The first thing any president should say - or anybody in public life - is without a border protected, you don't have a nation,” Kerry said. “I wish President Biden had been heard more often saying, I'm going to enforce the law.”
Apparently, Mr. Kerry is having some memory issues.
When Biden (D) was president, there was a bipartisan border bill in Congress that included support from some of the most conservative Republican members of Congress. Biden was ready to sign it into law. Among the items it included were:
-Increased border security funding of about $20 billion
- Asylum system reforms
- Emergency border authority, including emergency powers to restrict border crossings
- Continued border wall construction
And who killed the bill? Candidate Trump (R)
Republicans talk about issues. Democrats solve issues.
