Mad King Donald Thee Pedophile has resurrected an old but reliable tactic and given it a new twist: a more targeted version of the mass separation of migrant children from their parents that used during his first term.

Evgeny and Evgeniia faced an excruciating choice.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers told the couple they could leave the United States with their child and return to their native Russia, which they had fled seeking political asylum. Or they could remain in immigration detention in the United States — but their 8-year-old son, Maksim, would be taken away and sent to a shelter for unaccompanied children.

Mad King Donald Thee Pedophile has decided to use family separation as a tool to persuade families to leave and to create a deterrent for those who might come to the United States illegally.

Maksim was separated from his parents, who remain in ICE detention, in May. Subsequently, Evgeny and Evgeniia passed their protection screening, which means the United States has determined that they cannot be deported to Russia. Undeterred, he Trump administration will try to find another country which will accept them upon deportation.

Gotta' get those deportation numbers up, dontchaknow.

Ah well, if he cannot bring down the price of bacon, eggs, orange juice, coffee, and just about everything else, including the price of gasoline, Mad King Donald Thee Pedophile can at least throw metaphorical red meat to the masses as a distraction.
