I have both, but also used 2000 forever. But I found that under Win10 Office 2002 runs much smoother. You should give that modern version a try.

I ran 2003 on a computer for a while since that's what it came with. It was fine. The problem is, of course, that you can't buy 2002 or 2003 versions any more, and I own a few dozen Office 2000 licenses. With the later versions it's almost impossible to get rid of the detrimental UI changes.

My Excel 2000 runs on Windows 11. I think there was some small feature that didn't work, but not something I use, so I'm good for another few years : )
If I need more than 64k rows for something, either I'm doing something wrong or I've taken a job at a UK epidemiology office.
