I agree. They've got the Felon by this short and curlies. They may not want to be bombed, but they can endure it pretty easily. They have less to lose than the Felon does, and I think they know it.

Absolutely. But it still might be in their interest to sign. They'll have lots of opportunities to use their newly-proven power over the Strait over time, as well as their neighbors' new recognition that having a U.S. base or several in your country doesn't do as much to protect you in this new age of drones. I think they'd welcome having the U.S. draw down their deployment to normal levels (or lower, if Dope1's idea that this was done so that we can move assets out of the region is correct), get their own trade through Hormuz back up to normal, and cash in whatever funds/sanctions relief are tied to those milestones. And then they can go back to yanking DJT around, knowing they've got him whipped and he's not going to be able to restart the fighting anywhere close to prior levels.
