RFK Jr.’s residence came up recently in court during a dispute about his ability to appear as a candidate for President of the United States on New York ballots. Legal records indicate that RFK Jr. used an address in Katonah, New York to claim residence in the state. However, the address he used belonged to a friend, and RFK Jr. had only briefly rented a bedroom while his permanent residence was in California. RFK Jr. reportedly used the Katonah address to vote in New York in November, despite it not qualifying as his legal residence, according to the Albany County Supreme Court.
