Subject: Re: J6 committee investigation
Shouldn't be too hard to produce those texts, should it?

If it’s not too hard, then why haven’t they already produced those texts?

Again, Republicans are, as usual, very good at producing accusations, but not so successful backing them up with facts.

One example from your post:

Cassidy Hutchinson’s most outrageous claims lacked any evidence, and the Select Committee had knowledge that her claims were false when they publicly promoted her.
President Trump did not attack his Secret Service Detail at any time on January 6.

Ms. Hutchinson NEVER said Trump attacked his Secret Service detail. Here is what she testified to:

Hutchinson testified she was told by then-White House deputy chief of staff Tony Ornato that after Trump got into the presidential SUV following his rally, hoping to drive to the Capitol as his supporters marched there, his lead Secret Service agent Robert Engel told him it was too dangerous and informed him they were returning to the White House. Hutchinson said Ornato told her Trump became irate and attempted to grab the steering wheel of the vehicle, and lunged at Engel's clavicle. She testified Engel was present with Ornato as he related the incident but never contradicted the account.

Did Trump attack his Secret Service detail? I have no idea, but I think it would have been out of character for Trump to do it because he’s a coward (and it might have messed up his pretty hairdo) and he prefers, like most crime bosses, to let his underlings do the dirty work.

But to claim that Ms. Hutchinson claimed that Trump attacked his Secret Service detail is totally false.

If that’s the type of detail you are clinging to, you might as well admit now that you got bubkis.

Not one criminal conviction will come from this waste of time and money. The Republicans got nothing.
