Subject: NetJets
first thing I see at the top of the WSJ today:
The demand for pilots is through the roof. Compensation as the Majors is going up fast.
There are always two sides to any negotiation but NetJets faces a difficult market to compete for and retain pilots.
"I was not planning to go elsewhere ... In fact, I was looking forward to upgrading and building a career at NetJets. But management pushed me away by refusing to compete
in this market. Many of my peers are making the same decision. NetJets will end up with pilots who cannot get to the airlines, those waiting for a call from the airlines and the handful of aviators who
choose to stay because they live in a remote base."
