Just like Russia, the U.S. government is now built on a foundation of lies. Trump and his officials are using disinformation as a governing strategy, warping public perception to dismantle institutions and justify authoritarian policies. With Musk controlling X, these lies spread unchecked.

We always wondered how such things could ever happen here.

After all, we have “guardrails”.

This has been quite the educational experience for us- watching in real time as the guardrails have been smashed, institutions have capitulated and democracy itself dismantled.
