Seems she will make a show the flag grand tour of Latin America, on the way. Wouldn't it be funny, if she steamed into Havana harbor, as God and Savior Trump declared Cuba the US' newest colony?

“Detailed planning is currently underway for Nimitz to visit several partner states on the ship’s circumnavigation of the continent of South America, enroute to its new homeport,” Navy spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Peter Pagano said in a statement to USNI News. “Additional details on the upcoming Southern Seas 2026 deployment, such as participating and embarked units, will be released before it begins.”
