Subject: Re: OT, got to meet Ira
The moral of the story is don't pass up a chance to tie in with some of the folks who are on these boards.

I can attest that I have made some real friendships on these boards, and manny many have more so. The posts are not just abstract virtual words, but real people and real relations. This is partly, I'd not largely, why the community and manner of communication particularly here is more civilised and enduring than a typical forum.

Still, many have not realised that this Shrewdom continuation of the culture actually exists. The reaction upon seeing a link is that it 'could not be possible', and to continue thinking the communicative has vanished. Upon arriving some of the comments are 'What? How is this even possible?'.

Because of that, therefor most important that you continue to make contact with everyone you were previously in contact to give them the opportunity to meet with friends they thought had vanished. This is rather time critical also.
