Subject: Beer Hall Putsch Day(s)
100 years ago today (November 8-9, 1923), the Nazi Party, led in person by Adolf Hitler, unsuccessfully attempted to seize power in Munich in what became known as the Beer Hall Putsch.

In the spirit of Mark Twain -- "History never repeats itself, but it does often rhyme." -- Hitler faced criminal charges for trying to overthrow the government, but his party still demanded that he run the country.

Come to think of it, this ain't no rhyme: we are repeating history.
