I know you hate Trump so you keep saying this because you need it to be illegal, but that is certainly debatable....

It isn't illegal, there's an authorization still there, but even if it wasn't there I wouldn't call it illegal. There's a tension between the Executive and Legislative on War Powers - which only Congress has. So the President better get whatever he wants done in 30-60 days.
