Subject: West Point Cancels Tom Hanks
Since 1958, West Point has honored one U.S. citizen annually with the Sylvanus Thayer Award for embodying the values of "Duty, Honor, Country." Tom Hanks was scheduled to receive the award later this month but his ceremony was just abruptly canceled by the Academy.

West Point Association of Graduates President and CEO Mark Bieger announced the cancellation in a faculty email on Friday. Hanks is a longtime advocate for the military, veterans, and their families. He's made veterans issues a point of advocacy for decades.

Evidently Hanks is too woke.

Not to worry, though, a portrait of Gen. Robert E. Lee was reinserted into the West Point library in late August because evidently honoring traitorous pieces of shit who tried to destroy the union is, umm, err, not woke.
