I think tactically it's time for the Democrats to pass the CR. It only goes till 11/15. If it passes, Mike Johnson has to get the House back in session, and swear in Grijalva, which will force the Epstein Files vote. Then they can shut down the gov't again on 11/15, because I can guarantee Repugnicans will not pass a new budget by then.

Johnson's only got a week or two that he can keep the House out anyway. If the CR doesn't pass soon, that 11/15 deadline is too short. The House will then need to pass a new CR to replace the existing one. Or the Senate will change the 11/15 date, forcing it to go to go back to the House even though the shutdown is still ongoing.
