here is the sad part :
in a 2024 amazing surprise, dems won ~4 out of the top 5 NC state-level offices.(which may have been some Mark Robinson effect)
but the trend for local and state reps stayed hard right.
among the first things gop reps did was cripple power for state-level offices...except for 1 which gained power.
guess which party won the office of State Auditor.

sometimes you cant drill deep enough to fix stupid.
