Subject: Re: New Video Proves Dope1 Wrong
The SUV driver's partner was outside of the vehicle and behaving and speaking in a very deliberately provocative manner.
"Come at me big boy"?
The fact that the partner was out of the vehicle indicates that both of them had already been told by either Ross or some other ICE agent to exit the vehicle.
The driver was being deliberately defiant, and her partner was recording the defiance and trying to be as provocative as possible.
The SUV driver, from the perspective of what we could see from the Ross viewpoint footage, clearly starts moving her vehicle forward while its front wheels were still canted towards Ross.
That's exactly why the video image is interrupted and you suddenly see "sky." That's Ross being knocked over.
Now, maybe the excuse for Good is she is (like many SUV drivers) a terrible driver, and didn't realize that if her wheels are pointed to the left (i.e. in the direction of Ross) and she cranks the steering wheel to the right, there is a response delay of a second or two.
It's still her fault.
That's a different question from whether the shooting itself was legally justified.
But don't make a straw man out of this and try to claim her vehicle wasn't headed towards the officer.
