Subject: Bye Pelosi
Back when I 'cared' --- i of course never liked her politics. But she's a name from those days when I cared so i had to chime in because sometimes i miss those days.

Her political skills were awesome - i dont mean retail campaigning but i mean as a whip or House Leader or Speaker. How to herd the cattle and keep the troops in line, anything from close-call votes to telling AOC to wait her turn.

Then came Trump's Re-election kickoff on 1/6.

I dont know the details (i dont care enough to know) about whose responsibility it was, who didn't call the police, whatever -- those arguments of the tribal Americans are not my arena.

But I felt she showed amazing poise, while it was going on. And frankly - politics aside - could she take that 3am phone call and lead? I have no doubt - the answer is yes.

So as someone who appreciates good political skill - hat tip on that score but not on much else.

(Also loved some of her lesser known chit chat with George W Bush....some fun stuff there)
