Subject: No Immunity, No Golden Years
Donald Trump continues to argue for complete presidential immunity. Yesterday, he wrote on Truth Social (yes, in all caps):

"WITHOUT IMMUNITY, IT WOULD BE VERY HARD FOR A PRESIDENT TO ENJOY HIS OR HER 'GOLDEN YEARS' OF RETIREMENT. THEY WOULD BE UNDER SIEGE BY RADICAL, OUT OF CONTROL PROSECUTORS, MUCH LIKE I AM, BUT WITHOUT THE RETIREMENT!!!"

Former president Jimmy Carter is retired.

Former president George W. Bush is retired.

Former president Bill Clinton is retired.

Former president Barack Obama is retired.

Not a single one of those former presidents is "under siege".

Because none of those former presidents committed fraud, defamed anyone, stole top secret documents, entered into a conspiracy involving fraudulent electors, or attempted illegally to block the peaceful transfer of power.

I see no one besides LonghornBoy answered my simple questions from last night: does a president have complete immunity for anything he does in office? And is the only way a president can be prosecuted is if he is first impeached in the House and then also convicted in the Senate?

C'mon Trumpers, step up.
