The new version of the site also won't let you highlight the prices in the history for a copy-paste.
It worked for me. Here's cut/paste dividends for SPY.

Are you running the "new version" of the site, or old?
It definitely doesn't work for me with the "new version", just with classic, whether I'm trying stock prices or dividends.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about---
To switch from new to old, finance home, bottom right of the page, fourth last link, "back to classic yahoo!finance"
To switch from old to new, finance home, near top right of the page, "Try the new yahoo!finance ->", second from top link

The old version runs an infinite CPU loop on Firefox AND a memory leak and will crash your browser after an hour or so. So the new version does have its advantages.
