Two words "democratic socialism". I recently contrasted the crowd size I saw at Kasich and Romney rallies, with the roaring mob scene at a Bernie Sanders rally. Bernie had the crowd lit up. But Hillary's control of the party machine and the "super delegates", meant Bernie didn't have a chance. Now he's too old.
