Subject: Re: More than 280 U.S. mass shootings YTD
Just an anecdote. We were on a cruise that stopped in Belgium two years ago. Before we ported in Belgium, they had a shooting where one person died. One. We were told to expect disruptions to shore excursions as they had closed off a small part of the city (Brussels). It didn't affect us as we were going to Bruges that day. But apparently it was a mess for people going to Brussels.

For "just" one death by firearm.

Compare and contrast to the USA. We get 280 mass shootings, and nothing closes down. Few people even notice.
