One reason Trump is mauling the country and our allies so badly is not only because he has ignored so many of our existing laws and traditions, but because our system was never designed to anticipate a straight-up self-dealing criminal in the highest office.

Trump is in his second term, of course. Seems like a case of fool me twice, shame on me.
