Hakeem Jeffries said what he said, repeatedly, in a lengthy interview with Becky Quick, a very polished, no nonsense, knowledgable journalist who gave Jeffries numerous opportunities in a 10+ minute interview to back off or clarify his position.

Jeffries was very clear. He said what he said, repeatedly.

Stop pulling stuff out of your cloaca and then spinning lies.

This is all part of the shutdown strategy--inflict as much pain as possible on the American people leading up to the 2026 midterms, and blame the Republicans for it.
