It's not a question of "if". It's a question of "when" another flu outbreak occurs, and turns deadly. As bad as COVID was, it was nothing compared to the flu of 1918. Only 4% mortality, and look at the havoc it caused four years ago. Hopefully world leaders will realize it when it happens, and not try to stoke conspiracy theories and such.
Seems like he may have contacted a "patient zero", which is scary because that would imply human-to-human transmission.
