Washington (dpo) - Chances for the US team winning their first World Cup group match against Paraguay have risen significantly today: US President Donald Trump has threatened the South American country with hefty punitive tariffs if the Paraguayan national team defeats the US squad.

"Think very carefully about what kind of football you want to play on Saturday," Trump threatened during an appearance in the Oval Office, before holding up a leather folder.
