Amazon “help me” service (I forget the name)

The Amazon service is $59 per year. It does not call 911, but does use a live operator (?) to contact who you tell them to call. Key point will be if he can remember to use it. If his doors are all locked, how does someone get in to help? <--Another point to consider.
