Yes, here we are again, making it personal when inconvenient facts are introduced...I believe that's called "pounding the table" and is taught in some law schools. That's fine; there's an audience to play to here.

For one, you don't speak for Minnesota, Florida Man. How do you know *why* they've enabled the laws they've enabled? Minnesota - lol - stands to lose an entire Congressional seat thanks to the deportations thus far.

But let's toss Team Altruism a bone here and ignore the fact that having mass numbers of illegal immigrants in your state means that

-democrat states get proportionately more representation in Congress
-democrat states get more federal dollars
-democrat states get more electoral votes, and thus each democrat voter gets more say in who wins the White House.


Let's ignore all that and take you at your word that democrats are only concerned with The Community. I'm sure at least a few actually believe that.

Of course, to believe that you'd have to ignore
-the extra burden on welfare systems
-the extra burden on healthcare systems
-the extra burden on the educational system
-the extra burden on law enforcement
-housing squeezes and rising rents due to extra demand
-dislocation of the local workforce in favor of those willing to work for less
-exploitation of minors
-human trafficking
-enablement of drug smuggling

...and more. Ask Jedi here how lucrative it is to take advantage of Section 8 housing in blue areas.

Let's further ignore that we could simply expand work permits to bring more people out from the shadows. Surely The Community would benefit. Especially since if we had a better notion of who was actually here we could tailor additional programs to help assimilate these people into The Community. You know, things like language programs, lessons in civics, etc. Real pathways to help people join The Community.

You'd also have to ask yourself why an amnesty program is never mentioned coming from these sanctuary outfits. Surely if The Community would benefit from their permanent presence, then surely some kind of legislative proposal could be made to amend the laws and make them full participants in society, right?

I mean, because people with such deep seeded beliefs and concern for the health of The Community would have thought of all this already, yes?

Or we could also be kind and understanding of the actual ability of some to actually process all these things. I'm sure this mob of angry Minnesota yoga AWFLs have full command of the issues of the day:
