Subject: Puppy Killer Seeks Military Arrests of Civilians
Department of Homeland Security Secretary and renowned puppy killer Kristi Noem asked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth by letter to have the military make civilian arrests in Los Angeles because republicans are insane thugs who only believe in states' rights when they agree with those rights.

The letter in questions requests the Pentagon to give "direction to DoD forces to either detain, just as they would at any federal facility guarded by military, lawbreakers under Title 18 until they can be arrested and processed by federal law enforcement, or arrest them." The official also asked for "drone surveillance support," as well as weapons and logistics assistance.

Can you say grossly escalatory and illegal? I knew you could.

Both the LA Times and AP have reported that ICE Agents started the violence in LA this past weekend but I'm guessing Noem doesn't intend for them to be arrested by the military.

Nope.
