This is How You Deal With Fascists and Pedophiles
In September 2025, Brazil’s Supreme Court convicted former president, Jair Bolsonaro, on several charges, including:
Attempted Coup d’État: Orchestrating a plot to stay in power after his defeat in the 2022 election.
Violent Abolition of the Rule of Law: Related to the January 8, 2023, attacks on government buildings.
Criminal Association: Leading an organization aimed at subverting democracy.
He was sentenced to 27 years and 3 months in prison and began serving his sentence in late November 2025. This happened despite President Donald Trump’s campaign of tariffs and sanctions against Brazil in a failed effort to get it to stop the trial.
On Thursday, former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was sentenced to life in prison for leading an insurrection. The insurrection occurred on December 3, 2024 when Yoon declared martial law and “armed soldiers descended on the parliament by helicopter and attempted to storm the chamber where lawmakers were gathered.”
Also on Thursday, British authorities arrested the king of England’s brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and put him in prison on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The suspicion stems from “alleged sharing of confidential material by the former prince with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.” In December 2010, Mountbatten-Windsor, then popularly known as Prince Andrew, sent Epstein a document he described as a "confidential brief" regarding reconstruction and investment opportunities in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The brief detailed gold, uranium, and lithium deposits.
Of course, Mountbatten-Windsor is heavily implicated in the more serious pedophilia allegations against Epstein, and this is the real reason he is under investigation. As the BBC reports, Buckingham Palace (the British version of the FBI) is involved and additional charges could come after the former prince’s connections to Epstein are more thoroughly understood.
