I will say that at least twitter called it bias (what it is/was) rather than blaming some innocent error in the algorithm.

Keep in mind, when I blamed it on an innocent error in the algorithm, that's the generous interpretation. The more likely interpretation is that Fox News is outright lying - they made up the incident.

There are 785,000,000 reasons to think that Fox News lies to it's viewers/readers. While that may not be the case here, there is zero reason to trust anything Fox says any longer. Everything they say needs to be independently verified.
