Subject: Re: Tariffs start to squeeze Farmers
But that does not mean that the stockmarket is going to pull back immediately, if at all.

As pointed out over on TMF, 60% of the Nasdaq are made up of only seven companies: Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Broadcomm, Amazon, and Meta. All of which are riding high on the AI boom.

Those seven companies also make up about a third of the S&P 500 as well.

So as long as tariffs don't do anything to harm the AI boom, you probably will see only muted effects on "the stock market." Because "the stockmarket" now overwhelmingly consists of a handful of technology and software companie. And those companies are so huge that they will have the resources or influence (or just the sheer size) to get special treatment so that they're spared the impacts of tariffs generally.
