Subject: Re: Lloyd Austin vs Pete Hegseth
We've already had one. His name is Merrick Garland.

Garland dragged his feet for two years until the January 6 committee made it impossible NOT to proceed.

As it is, a compliant federal judge in Florida committed legal malpractice to kill one federal case, and a slow walking Supreme Court killed the other, while simultaneously pulling a novel legal doctrine out of thin air that granted presidential authority to assassinate political rivals.

You’ll note that Joe Biden didn’t use that power.

We won’t be so lucky with the next guy. He’s been yammering about his presidential immunity for the last two years.
