Subject: Re: Wealthy Gain, Poor Lose From Tax Bill
I think Jesus would recognize it, and speak out about it, and they'd kill him all over again.

Yeah, overturning tables on Capitol Hill wouldn't go over well. :-)

As an aside, if you take all the writings together (i.e. don't cherry pick), he was a bit of a loon. He clearly thought Judgment would occur in his lifetime (hence the "think not for the morrow and follow me"). He cursed a fig(?) tree that wouldn't bear fruit out of season. He would say "love thy neighbor", and then in the next breath (figuratively) he said he came to set neighbor upon neighbor, and children against their parents, etc.**

Rather than killing him, the Felon might make him Secretary of State.

**People used to quote the stuff from the Sermon on the Mount; but I read a few months ago that preachers who quoted those were getting complaints from their "flock" that the preachers were being too "liberal". Made me smile (wryly).
