Interesting reaction. When Machado made those comments, I found myself thinking that it was clear she understood how she had to handle Trump, and would make a great leader. I also thought it was very unfortunate for her to get the prize if her goal was to have the US help her take her elected place. I concur on your conclusion about the other party involved.
